Preface
South Korea is the country that does cities very well. Seoul for the palaces and the markets, Busan for the coast and the seafood, Jeju for the volcanic-island weekend. Four Seoul days, two Busan, two Jeju on the longer routes. Best between September and November for the autumn maples or March-May for the cherry blossoms.

Tibro has been routing South Korea since 2019. Six years of Seoul-Busan week pairs, with the occasional Jeju-volcanic-island add-on for the second-week travellers.
We work with a Seoul-based partner who handles the city-and-KTX logistics and a Busan coordinator for the coast.
Two routes is what we currently maintain. The Seoul-and-Busan seven-night is the most-requested; we route the KTX on day five because the high-speed train feels right after the city has slowed you.

Seoul & Busan, seven nights, October 2024
Four Seoul nights, three Busan. The Bukchon morning at six AM was almost empty and the hanok rooftops in autumn light were the trip's first picture. The Jagalchi fish-market in Busan at five in the morning was a Tibro idea we had been on the fence about. And it was the trip's best meal.

Korea & Jeju, nine nights, April 2024
Seven city nights, two Jeju. The cherry-blossom timing the studio routed for the first week was within a day of the peak and the Han River walks were the postcard week. Jeju on the back was a softer rhythm than the cities and the right way to close.
