Preface
France is a country that does not believe in your itinerary. Lunch will run two and a half hours; the museum will be closed on Monday or Tuesday depending; the train you wanted is fully booked but the one an hour later isn't. Plan around the long lunch, not against it. What you get back in return is the country at its own pace. Which, you will find, is the one you came for.

Tibro has been routing France since 2008. Fifteen years of Paris, the Riviera, Provence, and the Loire. Long enough to know which hotels actually answer the phone in August and which ones only pretend to.
We work with a Paris-based partner studio run by Camille (formerly with a Faubourg-Saint-Honoré concierge desk) and a Nice-based DMC who covers the Riviera and the Provençal hill villages. Between them they cover every department a Tibro traveller is likely to ask about.
Hotels in France are an old-money problem. The great Paris palaces and the family-run Provençal mas are not commissioned partners; we hold an annual retainer with the ones we send people to, and we tell you which is which.
Thirty routes is what we currently maintain. Adding one requires Camille or our Nice partner to have personally stayed in the hotel within the past twelve months. Anything older we do not stand behind.

Paris & the Loire, nine nights, September 2024
Camille had us at a courtyard hotel in the Marais that does not appear on any of the lists. Day three was a private morning at the Louvre before the doors opened. We walked the Italian galleries with one curator and no one else. The Loire was two days from there, by car, with a stop for lunch in a converted mill that the studio has been sending people to for a decade. We came home wanting to write back about every meal.

Côte d'Azur & Provence, ten nights, July 2024
We booked late and the studio still found us a sea-view room at a hotel in Cap d'Antibes that we had assumed was impossible in July. Nice for three nights, Aix-en-Provence for four, and a three-night detour into the Luberon where the lavender was at its peak the second week we were there. Their Nice partner drove us to a hill-village restaurant at sunset that has no English menu and no website. Best meal of the trip.

Paris with Switzerland, twelve nights, May 2024
Six nights of Paris followed by six in the Bernese Oberland. The handover at Gare de Lyon was the part we were nervous about and the part Tibro nailed. A Paris driver to the platform, a reserved TGV carriage, and a Lucerne pickup waiting on the other end. Camille had also called ahead to the Paris hotel about a small allergy issue without us asking. Detail like that you do not forget.
