The event is organised by India ITME Society, an apex non-profit industry body in India and co-organised by Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA). ‘ITME-AFRICA 2020’(14th to 16th February 2020) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia shall become the focal point and catalyst for economic growth, employment generation and technology up-gradation in Ethiopia and other countries in Africa. This business shall showcase complete range of textile and textile engineering with a total of 27 chapters. 4 broad categories are covered Textile, Textile Engineering, Financial institutions and allied segment. Ethiopia being seat of African Union and one of the major countries in the continent of Africa with growing textile industry shall host this 1st edition of event. This exhibition shall offer sourcing solution, joint venture and investment opportunity not only to Ethiopia but to all of Africa. This event shall bring multiple growth effects for not only to the textile industry but also the airlines, hotels, transport, tourism etc. and shall contribute to the development of the region in many ways. ‘ITME AFRICA 2020’ is all set to act as a catalyst and be the pivot for eco-development, employment generation, thus heralding prosperity to the continent

- • PASSPORT: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any)
- • ETHIOPIA VISA APPLICATION FORM: One visa application form duly filled and signed. PHOTO SPECIFICATION: One recent passport size photograph with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
- • PLEASE NOTE: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas
- • COVERING LETTER: Covering Letter on the company’s letter head stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, specific purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorize signatory mentioning his name & designation along with the company seal and should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, New Delhi.
- • INVITATION LETTER: Invitation Letter from Ethiopian host / inviting Company on its letter head stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, specific purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorize signatory mentioning his name & designation along with the company seal and should be faxed directly to the Embassy and a copy of the same has to be attached with the application form.
- • AIRLINE RESERVATION: Return air ticket.
- • MEDICAL:
- a) Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) has to be submitted along with the visa application & applicant has to carry the same at the time of travel.
- b) Applicant should have completed a full course of vaccination against Polio, preferably with Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), and should receive an additional dose of OPV at least six weeks before each international journey. The Validity of a full course of vaccination will be one year.
- • IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION: Applicants seeking Business Visa (Short Meeting, Conference, Installation of Machineries, NGOs, International organizations’ official business, Government Work, teaching assignment, employment, exhibitions etc) to Ethiopia has to apply for aforesaid visa category post immigration approval has been arranged by the Invitee (Counterpart in Ethiopia).
- • Invitee will approach the immigration office in Ethiopia with invitation letter to seek approval for Business Visa. Immigration Office will issue permission for issuance of type & duration of Business Visa and forward it to Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi. Post receiving the approval from immigration office, the consular section will issue necessary visa as per the instructions.
- • PLEASE NOTE: Copy of the Immigration Approval has to be submitted along with the application form
