- Morning arrival at Paro Airport. Welcome to Bhutan! Meet and greet with our local representative / Driver and Transfer to Thimphu. On arrival, check in at GANGTEY LODGE located in the heart of Bhutan, allows guests not only to immerse themselves in everyday Bhutanese rural life but to bring positive benefits to the local community. Take a rest in the room. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.
- The experience starts from the lodge, when the guests are escorted to the Monastery to participate with the monks and lamas in the Tshewang prayer ceremony. Afterwards guests will be able to enjoy an exceptional private breakfast experience within the monastery. (kindly advise us 1 day ahead so we may coordinate this special event for you.) After enjoying the breakfast, enjoy an inhouse activities in the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.
- The Morning Prayer takes place every morning from 05:15-06:15 (except Sundays). The day starts very early at 05:00, to get ready for the morning prayers; these prayers are referred to as the Tara Ceremony. After that, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge. After that, you can go for short hikes nearby lodge to 360° Hike. This breath-taking hike, Gangtey 360°, begins with a15 minute drive back up towards Lawala Pass. Enjoy delicious lunch with Spectacular views. Rest day is for leisure or you enjoy other inhouse activities / experience at lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast in lodge, transfer to Paro. On arrival, check in a hotel. Proceed for Paro Sightseeing. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel
- Although it is sad to leave the “Happiest Place on Earth”, an early departure is necessary since all flights depart in the morning. After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport will be arranged as per your flight schedule.
